Hi, I’m stumbled upon this site purely by accident. I have a Osim U-Astro. It looks like I will be selling it to a friend so I want to replace it with a better more advanced chair. My concern is the “made in China” chairs which seems to be most of them. My budge is in the $4000 range. I’m sure you get this all the time, but can you possibly give me your 3 tip choices in this price range combining reliability AND features. I was looking at the Osim U-Astro 2, the Osaka 7200CR/OS-3d-expensive, Osaka 7075. I can’t quite figure out who makes Infiniti or most of the others. Please help, I have had neck surgery and back issues from an accident at work and I love and need a good chair. A good neck message is important to me but I’m not sure any of them are that great in that area. Thank you.

      Hi Gerry,
Thank you for reaching out, and those are all great questions. For the most part All massage chairs are made in China, with the exception of a few brands. We know of the Luraco iRobotics 6 which is labeled a “product of the US”, and the Infinity It-9800 which is made in Taiwan. The new Osaki Os-3D Pro Dreamer is an upgraded version of the Os-7200h and is part of the new Osaki Pro Series. It has a 3D roller which is fully adjustable, good for hitting parts of the neck and back. The Osaki Os-7075r is a strong massage chair and great for someone who is looking for a a very strong massage roller. Both of these chairs have foot rollers which is an added benefit. The Infinity It-8500 is also a great deep tissue massage chair. It has a wide variety of different programs to use and some cool stretching features. The It-8500 has 3 foot rollers under the soles and an adjustable roller and some programs that target the upper body (back). All of these are viable options for you with the Pro Dreamer having the most roller control, the Os-7075r being the stongest, and the It-8500 having the most massage options and massage choices – aside from the intensity of the roller.

      I hope that helps!

Hi Steph, Thanks for writing back. What store are you affiliated with or do you work independently. I really like the IT 8500. I read somewhere yesterday that the OS 7075r had a ton of reliability issues. Do you know anything about this?. I am interested in again financing a chair as I did the U-Astro. Do you have any suggestions for financing?. I think I narrowed it down to the Osaki 7200h and the Infiniti 8500 unless you think there is something better to consider. Thank you again. G

        Hi Gerry,
Sorry for the late reply. I work independently but help a lot of the online massage chair stores in reviewing the different chairs they carry. Not sure if you have made your decision yet but you have narrowed it down to some great choices. Both those chairs have their pro’s and cons but check out the Infinity Iyashi, and the Osaki Os-3D pro dreamer as some alternatives. Those chairs offer the best that each brand has to offer. But in comparison the Os-7200h has an adjustable roller, and the It-8500 has a deep non-adjustable roller. The It-8500 has foot rollers with speed settings where the Os-7200h does not have rollers underneath the feet. Both chairs will have a more intense back roller than the uAstro. As for financing most stores have different types of financing, I only know of Bill Me Later that Paypal offers. I hope that helps and please feel free to reach out with any further questions.

I am considering a high end massage chair and I am particularly interested in the Infinity Iyashi and the Osaki OS 3D Pro Dreamer. I am interested in a chair that has roller massage down to the buttocks/thighs, but I am also intrigued by the 3D technology. If I were to purchase an Infinity Iyashi, would I be sacrificing quality/intensity of the massage due to the lack of 3D technology, especially in the upper shoulder area?

    Thanks for your input.

    Cheers,
    Bevan

      Hi Bevan,
That is a great question. The Infinity Iyashi has one intensity and the strength will slightly change in different programs. If you want to have complete control over the massage roller we suggest getting one that you can adjust, like the Pro Dreamer. The Iyashi has a lot of high qualities with the butt massage and because of the back scanning you can make sure your neck gets good coverage. You can also do spot massage on both chairs to make sure you get a quality neck massage. If complete control of the massage roller is what you’re looking for we suggest the Osaki OS-3D Pro Dreamer, or the new Osaki Os-3D Pro Cyber.

We hope this helps you pick the right chair!

I bought the Infiniti IT8500 after a LOT of research and trying out all the chairs!. The IT8500 as Stephanie says in her review has an incredibly intense massage and does everything that the highest end chairs do and more (IE Inada, very overpriced in my opinion). I paid around $3600 with 24 month %0 financing. I have 4 cats and was worried about them getting on the chair and scratching it. SO, I found a guy in CT who makes those funny plastic covers that your grandma used to put on her furniture. However, this guy made a removable one with a zipper. I take it on and off when I use the chair. You can still see the beauty of the chair with the clear cover on it. When I fixate on something I obsess until I have a solution. I”m mentioning this because I think a lot of people are concerned about pets and these chairs so this is a great solution. I can provide his name and contact info if anyone is interested. (Hartford CT area). One VERY important thing that no one seems to have ever mentioned about these chairs regarding pets or small children. When the chair is done with its program most if not almost all of them ( Inada doesn’t ), AUTOMATICALLY returns to the seated position. The ottoman part goes down and whatever may be under it will be squashed. I put a board with tin foil on it under the ottoman because cats and dogs hate the feel of tin foil under their feet so they won’t go there. It IS however very dangerous. Crawling child , pet etc. I also have a gate I found on Amazon that I can use to keep everything away from the chair when in use. I just thought everyone should know about this. Sorry for being so long winded. Enjoy.

Great feedback Gerry, thank you for sharing. From the massage chair manuals I’ve seen almost all of them have a child warning, but I haven’t seen anything about pets. Great tips and I’m happy I was able to help. Enjoy your new Infinity It-8500 massage chair, we’re happy to hear its working out.

Thanks for the response. Do you know of a chair that offers the 3D and intensity control of the rollers AND butt/thigh roller massage?

      • Stephanie Cunningham

        Hi Bevan,
Of course. Currently there are no massage chairs available that have both the 3D roller adjustments and a roller that can massage the butt. We haven’t heard of any chairs coming out that will have this. People have contacted us with feedback and so far it’s been positive.

which masage chair i would buy between elite robo pad and osaki os 3d pro cyber ? please give me a reason why for each one
    thanks
    calvin

    • Stephanie Cunningham

      Hi Calvin,
Thank you for asking such great questions. Out of those two chairs we prefer the Osaki Os-3D Pro Cyber. We prefer the upholstery and general comfort when just sitting in the chair, and find it easier to use. Both chairs have a 3D roller and foot rollers, but we find the OS-3D Pro Cyber to be smoother. We also prefer the foot rollers in the Cyber over the Robo Pad. We’ve heard some positive feedback from people who’ve used both chairs, so we know people have been happy with both chairs. We like Osaki because there is a lot more customer feedback available about their chairs. As for some of the other functions, we like the quality of the speakers in the Cyber, and the easy to use programs. There is also a lot of room for customizing the massage. The Pro Cyber is better for people over 5 foot 4 inches because of where the shoulder airbags are placed. One of the advantages of the Robo Pad is the Memory programs allowing you to store massage functions, and the Android App. The Memory is never a huge deciding factor because we really prefer other things like support in case something happens, and customer reviews, which Osaki has plenty of. Aside from that we noticed the airbags being high quality, and the massage functions very easy to use in each chair. We hope that helps, I’m here if you need me.
