Osaki Massage Chair

Two of the most asked about massage chairs, the Osaki OS-7075R and Osaki OS-7200H, have a lot of shoppers wondering what’s the difference between the two. Let’s look at some of the things that these chairs are most know for in the Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H massage chair comparison. The Osaki OS-7200H, which was released in late 2011, was designed to have one of the most comprehensive massage rolling mechanisms. It was an upgrade of the Osaki OS-6000, but with the addition of heat in the back. Aside from this, both the Osaki OS-6000 and Osaki OS-7200H massage chairs are identical; built with a 3D roller, an extensive airbag system (51 total), a sleek modern look, and a very easy to use remote.

The Osaki OS-7075R is an upgrade of another Osaki flagship chair, the Osaki OS-7000 massage chair. The Osaki OS-7075R has upgraded internal mechanisms and a newly added Foot Roller. The foot roller is located in the soles of the feet and kneads the bottoms of the feet, which is called Reflexology. The Osaki OS-7075R is also known for having a very intense deep tissue massage roller stretching programs and a design that can accommodate a wider range of user with its 31-inch massage roller.

Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H | Difference

Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H | Massage Rollers & Intensity

The Osaki OS-7200H has a 3D roller that can knead deeper into the muscles and grasp better. The 3D mechanism not only goes up and down but also in and out. This gives you better control of how deep you would like the massage as everyone has a different preference. It also has 5 levels of intensity to choose from soft to hard. The Osaki OS-7075R massage chair has a very deep tissue massage roller built on an S-track and is not 3D, and it only has 3 levels of intensity. BUT, It also has foot rollers located in the soles of the feet for a reflexology massage where the Osaki OS-7200H does not.

Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H | Massage Airbags

The Osaki OS-7200H has a total of 51 massage airbags in the massage chair which are located throughout the calves, feet, seat, arms, back, shoulders, and neck area. The Osaki OS-7075R has 46 airbags located in calves, seat, arms, back, and head (airbag placed over the top of the head). The Osaki OS-7200H definitely has more airbags and the shoulder massage is a definite plus.

Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H | Quality of the Chairs

Osaki spends a lot of time designing chairs that are built to last. Newly released models may have more issues than models that have stood the test of time. This is very true for many types of electronics (computers, tv’s, phones). Since the Osaki OS-7075R was a new chair released in Fall 2012,  and its still working through some of the kinks. Overall, Osaki massage chairs have a very low failure rate, with the Osaki OS-7200H having very few cases of issues that I have seen.

Osaki OS-7075R vs Osaki OS-7200H | Price

The cost of the chairs is also quite different. The Osaki OS-7200H price is $3795 with the Osaki OS-7075R price at $4295. It’s always best to do research on both these models and there’s quite a bit of feedback available online.
